Model GalleryCenturion Mk 1 by Barry Beldam
Dana 152mm SPG by Barry Beldam The Dana was an indigenous Czechloslovak vehicle mounting a 152mm howitzer on a wheeled chassis, the Tatra 815. Details have been hard to come by but recent events have opened the photographic door for this and many other former Warsaw Pact vehicles. The model was one of the most difficult I have ever built, taking over a year. The vehicle is asymmetrical left to right and all dimensions had to be scaled from the centre line out. As there were no plans available for this vehicle, I had to draw my own. The finished product was well worth the effort.
SA2BA Czech-used AA missile system, modified from the Airfix 1/76th SA2
kit. After all the changes and Ram Gun Tower and 17 Pr: The Ram is the lower hull from the Airfix 1/76th Grant and
the upper Tandair Ram hull (the only way to 76th a Ram). The 17 Pr
started life as the Matchbox kit but only the trails and spades are
suitable. Everything else scratch built.
